At our wildly successful symposium last month (see the pictures here), we mentioned a couple of upcoming events that promise to carry forward the momentum of the day. These include the Supernatural Cities II: Gothic Cities conference being hosted by LSAD/LIT on 6-7 April and the Gothic Nature: New Directions in Ecohorror and Ecogothic conference at TCD on 17-18 November. Details of these conferences are listed in our Events page, so have a look and save the dates.

Save the Date: INGS Inaugural Symposium, 21 January

A symposium to launch the Irish Network for Gothic Studies will take place on 21 January 2017 at the Trinity Long Room Hub, Trinity College Dublin. Confirmed plenary speakers include Catherine Spooner (Lancaster) and Jarlath Killeen (TCD), and the day will be capped with a wine reception marking the 10th anniversary of The Irish Journal of Gothic and Horror Studies.
